A burst of numbness spread from the earlobe.

Yu Chu could feel Ji Chen’s faint breath, which lightly caressed her cheek. His warm lips held the tip of her ear, and his tender, soft tongue gently stroke across it.

He seemed to like this intimacy so much that he gently ground his teeth and chuckled.

His clear, soft voice sounded very close as his lips still contained her earlobe.

Yu Chu’s hands clenched into fists, and because of the novel numbness, she could feel a tingling sensation travel down her spine.

She extended her hand under the table and pushed Ji Chen, but they were still in the classroom, so she didn’t dare to use too much force.

Ji Chen grabbed her hand and started drawing circles in her palm. When he felt Yu Chu tensing up again, he finally released her earlobe and revealed a pleased smile, his eyes curving into crescents. “Who told you to ignore me?”

“…”

What nonsense! He’s deliberately making trouble out of nothing!

Yu Chu wanted to glare at him but didn’t dare to, so she held herself back and let him continue holding her hand and drawing circles in her palm with interest, which evoked another burst of peculiar tingling sensation.

Ji Chen leaned his head on her shoulder, and his hair streaked across her cheek. After holding her hand and playing for a while, he finally raised his eyes to see Yu Chu staring fixedly at the blackboard in front, and he unhappily puffed his cheeks again.

He leaned over and gently pecked Yu Chu’s face before discontentedly calling out, “Chuchu.”

“Mhmm?” Yu Chu responded in a low voice.

Ji Chen moved his face over and pointed to his lips. His eyelashes almost touched the side of her face as he said, “Come and give me a kiss.”

Yu Chu: “…”

Can’t this little devil stop fooling around for a moment?

Upon sensing the change in her mood, Ji Chen surprisingly compromised, “Alright, if you kiss me, I won’t bother you anymore. I’ll let you attend class in peace. I promise.”

Yu Chu cast him a suspicious look. She hesitated before moving sideways to make it look like she was looking for a book to hastily kiss Ji Chen on the lips.

She then gestured with her eyes: Happy now?

Of course not.

It was only one kiss, how is that enough?

Ji Chen narrowed his eyes, his long eyelashes covering the surges of emotions in his eyes. However, he didn’t want to make her angry, so he reluctantly hugged her some more and kissed her on the cheek before revealing a slight satisfied look.

He finally quietened down.

As it turns out, raising a ghost sure is tiring.

However, Yu Chu didn’t know about the naughty things that Ji Chen was thinking of behind his calm surface.

Ji Chen thought that if he had to think of a reason as to why he didn’t dissipate from this world, and if it was truly because of an unfulfilled wish, then this must be it.

He was too lonely when he was alive, so he wanted to lean on someone now, preferably a girl he could touch, kiss, hug, or possibly do even more exciting things together. Otherwise, wouldn’t it be a significant loss for him to dissipate as a virgin ghost?

He didn’t feel this way in the past.

But, this kind of desire was suddenly aroused after Yu Chu had unintentionally kissed him on the cheek. He couldn’t help but want to approach her, kiss her, embrace her, and possess her.

It seemed that he only felt this way towards her.

Ji Chen found it strange but didn’t want to overthink it. Staying like this is not bad and being with her…is also quite nice.

It’s very nice.

His lips arched into a smile. His arms were still wrapped around Yu Chu’s waist. He didn’t want to let go. He watched her as she bowed her head and took down notes with great difficulty. Her long hair was tied into a ponytail, which hung loosely on the table.

He suddenly felt that being a ghost was not a bad thing.

There were no superfluous things to care about.

They could stay together every day.

And, he could move his hands and feet whenever he wanted.

As he thought of this, his eyes curved into crescents again, and a happy smile appeared on his gorgeous face.

When he stared at Yu Chu’s rosy lips, he couldn’t help but bite his lips, his gaze deepening imperceptibly.

That’s strange. How come I have never noticed this secret admirer before? He clearly liked her the moment he saw her for the first time.
