I replayed the words in my head that Oliax just had said.

Minagros Valverve. I’ve never heard of her……. No, I remember the last name Valverve when I think about it.

The Valverve family is one of the most prestigious magic families in the world. They are far more prestigious than the Eslands, to whom I belong.

The Eslands are only barons, and even if they are nobles, the Eslands are a step below.

Leaving those words behind, Oliax left for the demon world.

“Ha, I’m willing to listen to any order from Master!”

Orobas’ exaggeration was the usual thing, so I said what I needed to say in a straightforward manner.

“I’d like to check the facts to see if what Oliax said is true. If you can find a newspaper article from that time, that would be great.”

I’ll find it right away! I’ll find it and get going right away!”

Orobas then rushed out of the house.

“Are you sure you can trust that horse bastard?”

“Orobas is a good demon when he has to be.”

I think I have a pretty good opinion of Orobas. Focalor doesn’t seem to trust Orobas much.

“So, what do you think about Oliax’s wish, Focalor?”

“As far as I’m concerned, the master should do what he wants.”

I can imagine that Focalor would say this, but what I want to hear now is Focalor’s own thoughts.

“Well, I thought Focalor was against violence.”

“Yes, that’s true, but…”

Focalor is a demon that is unusually against violence.

“So you’re still against Oliax’s revenge?”

“Yes, I am……”

When Focalor said that, she put her hand on her chest and pretended to think.

Then she spits out the words as if she were squeezing them out.
