(Redross’s POV)

Redross looked around the garden for a while and saw no one.

He slightly recalled the suspicion that she might really be enjoying a secret meeting.

Her man’s history could almost be called ‘reputation’, and it wouldn’t be difficult to seduce a gardener or two.

She spoke well, but if such a beautiful woman looked straight with her green eyes and smiled, what kind of man could reject her.

While he was thinking, he remembered her smiling face and erased his useless thoughts.

I can’t see her this far, it’s probably right to assume that she was not in the garden.

‘Besides, it is very cold out at such a late hour.’

If Brelin was sane, she wouldn’t be wandering around in this freezing air.

When I thought like that, somehow I felt funny.

It’s true that I’m impatient because I have questions I want to ask her right now, but I’m not an immature boy, and I’ve been wandering around the garden recklessly looking for someone like this as if possessed.

Even if I think rationally, there’s no way she’s still here.

I was just about to turn around, but in the distance I could see a faint pink cloth on the floor.

Buried in the dark, it was hard to see, and it was almost invisible, but somehow the more I looked at it, the more clearly it looked.

‘What is that?’

He hastened his steps towards a corner of the garden that he would not normally go to.

There, there was Brelin lying on the floor with her pink hair scattered all over.

The pale face, who was looking up at the sky, immersed in what she was looking at so intently, was shining white in the starlight.

The gleaming green eyes on her face were so beautiful to be mesmerized.

It was so terribly beautiful that it was somehow unrealistic.

A bottomless thought of a beauty that would soon vanish in vain struck my head.

Inside, something like a strange desire stirred in an instant.

I couldn’t quite remember what I was saying.

He said it calmly, but the look in his eyes that slowly examining her was strangely sweet.

“Redross?”

“Brelin.”

“Yes?”

I have a lot to say.

How on earth did you find out about the wooden ice flower? I should tell you to stop joking about “hearing the voice of the spirit” and tell me quickly.

And I have to complain about what are you doing in the garden at this time.

Above all else, I must take this pale-faced woman to a warm place as soon as possible.

It must have been because of the  too many thoughts that complicated his head.

He thought about what to do first, then approached her as if possessed by those beautiful eyes.

He measured the cold temperature of the white cheeks under those eyes with one hand, and overlapped her mouth as if swallowing her slightly parted lips.

Her lips were as cold as ice, and it didn’t feel real.

The tears from those green eyes touched Redross’ fingertips.

Redross put their lips together as if to breathe that sweet breath, and then he came to his senses.

It was clear that he was kissing Brelin’s lips  with  his fingertips  touching her frozen cheeks.

‘This, now. So, what the hell am I doing right now?’

When I opened my closed eyes, I could see green eyes staring at me.

He let go of Brelin’s lower lip, which he had lightly pulled and bit, and slowly bit his lips.

Just Then, he woke up and jumped up.

What does it mean to kiss and then suddenly let go and get up?

But if he thought about what he did… No matter how dark the surroundings were, it seemed that he could not hide the embarrassment on his face.

What is Brelin thinking?

It was hard to understand the meaning of those twinkling eyes.

She just seemed a little surprised.

It’s absurd, but it was Redross’s side that was more startled.

Brelin wasn’t the kind of person to be pitiful like that.

Because she wasn’t someone who showed tears so easily, and he wasn’t someone who was so easily mesmerized.

So, I was so surprised that I did this without realising it.

I never did  this when she clung to me all the time.

“Hey… that…”

Brelin’s lips parted slowly.

“Please speak.”

“That…”

I know that no matter what I say, there was no proper explanation, so unrealistic excuses  just kept lingering in my mouth.
