“You can just tell me, but if you say yes, I don’t know if I’ll be able to stop myself.” He threatened.

Gerald burst into laughter. The feelings I had endured seemed to bloom like flowers. Gerald hugged me and kissed me on the forehead.

“You really don’t know anything, Lulu.” Gerald’s lips came to touch my forehead and then, touched my cheek.

“There’s no way I’m going to bite you.” I didn’t know the meaning until this time. Maybe until the next morning.

Gerald was able to make such a suggestion because of the Black Uroboros’s encouragement.

[You have me this time. Trust me and do what you want to do.]

Why the hell was he so confident about it? If Louella is pregnant, her life will be given to White Uroboros.

[I’m in charge of human life. It’s a little… complicated. It means that I can touch her body.]

Gerald’s eyes sharpened.

“I can’t afford to listen to your nonsense.”

[Really?]

“Okay, then let’s sign the contract again. If it becomes dangerous, you risk your life to save her.”

Black Uroboros burst into laughter. It was as if Gerald was being ridiculous.

[This is how you can make use of my kindness. Is it because of me having to taste it after a long time that I’m not in a bad mood no matter how many times you doubt me?] Black Uroboros said cheerfully.

[All right. Let’s sign a contract.]

The contract opened Gerald’s mind. There was such a hidden reason why Gerald ran to meet Louella.

So now, in Gerald’s arms, it had to be Louella. Gerald’s eyes clouded gently. As if he was expecting something more than that.

It was morning. The sun rose high above the sky. I felt like I couldn’t do any more of this. I opened my eyes wide.

“Argh!”

Am I staying up all night? Gerald opened the door and looked surprised as he walked in.

“What’s wrong?”

“I, I… I stayed out… Mom, Dad… I’m dead.” Gerald smirked.

He would have caught a glimpse of my stupidness. What on Earth am I talking about? I flopped down on the bed.

This may be my cemetery right here. Yeah. That’s right. Gerald sat next to me while I was giggling. He’s been dazzling since morning.

How can I not be humiliated when he just woke up that prettily? He sighed deeply and buried his head in his pillow.

“You don’t have to worry, Lulu. You’re supposed to be here with Flora today.”

He jerked his head around.

“No matter how many times I tried to wake you up last night, you didn’t wake up.” Gerald smiled as he spoke gently.

His smile was just as refreshing as a can of soda.

“Actually, I didn’t want to do it.”

What if he actually didn’t wake me up. That thought sparked in my mind after what he said. I had reasonable doubt.

“So I contacted Flora. I happened to catch Flora coming out of the banquet hall.”

“……what did you do to Flora?”

I didn’t think Flora would have cooperated for nothing, that girl would do something in exchange for something. Flora wouldn’t have been able to go back to her own house if not that.

“Yesterday, Billiers attended the conference until late.”

“Then?”

“Since the conference lasted until late, accommodation was provided.”

“So…?”

“The accommodation happened to be the hotel related to Logan. So I got another room.”

That’s what happened.

“I knew I was going to drink at the bar after the conference, and I just gave it to her.”

That’s what it is. Flora, who is into Billiers now, would have sold her soul for that.

He clicked his tongue. Well, I wasn’t in a position to say anything to Flora. I rolled using the blanket and looked at him like a caterpillar.

“Fortunately, I’ll be able to live in the house. Right, Lulu?” I nodded my head softly. He kissed me on the forehead.

Yesterday, for the guy who did something so heart fluttering, felt so refreshing and innocent. I feel like I’m corrupted. I was thinking about last night as soon as I saw him!

I buried my head under the covers. What kind of person is he, really? He’s so calm! I’m sure it’s his first time, too.

Oh, is it not? He must have had a previous life I didn’t know.

“Lulu.” Gerald kissed my exposed shoulder. His lips touching my bare skin scared me.

“W-why?”

“Let’s have breakfast. I have to go back now. The maids will help you dress up.”

“Oh…….” I nodded my head softly.

I didn’t know this day would come. I felt like the boulder I had was melting away. He promised me three nights.

But I don’t think I really need to do all those three. I cleared my throat as I glanced at Gerald. He looked so handsome and refreshing that I blushed.
