Chapter 3-28 : Spending The Night At The World Tree (part 1)

After all that happened, Leaf invited Mylia to her house and gave her some leaves of the World Tree and World Tree Morning Dew.

The leaves were stored in a wooden box and the dew in a small vial.

（What an unexpected harvest~ With the finest lettuce in the world in my hand, I’ve moved one step closer to the dream yakiniku party!）

While thinking that, Mylia stored the box filled with leaves of the World Tree in her magic bag.

（I’ve also obtained the item I was looking for!）

There wasn’t much World Tree Morning Dew in the vial. It was a very precious item after all. However, it was more than enough to fix Jasmine’s eyes because she would only need a couple drops of it.

While imagining Jasmine’s smile, Mylia put the vial in her magic bag.

「Mylia, remember to use the dew within three days after you leave this place.」(Leaf)

Mylia and Leaf were sitting at the table in the living room.

As always, Leaf was expressionless. She also looked as if she was sleepy somehow.

Mylia didn’t know what she was thinking but after she gave Mylia the leaves and the dew, Mylia was sure that she wasn’t a bad person at all. Therefore, Mylia no longer bothered with her expressionless face.

「Leaf, thank you so much for the dew. I’m sure my sister will be very happy!」(Mylia)

Leaf replied with a flat voice but Mylia could tell that her attitude had become more friendly than the first time they met a while ago.

After that, Leaf stood up from her chair, walked to the corner of the room, and took out a large number of dead leaves of the World Tree from her magic bag.

The leaves of the World Tree were large. They were about half the size of Mylia’s body.

「Leaf, what are you doing?」(Mylia)

「Almost done.」(Leaf)

Without knowing what Leaf was thinking, Mylia watched her making two piles of leaves from the World Tree. Each pile was large enough for someone to lay down on, and both of them looked pretty comfortable to lay down on.

「The right one or the left one?」(Leaf)

Mylia turned around and called Titania with her Phone Magic.

Mylia ended the conversation and hung up her Phone Magic.

When Mylia turned around, she was surprised by Leaf who was staring at her face at a very close range.

「Geez. You scared me…」(Mylia)

「Why were you talking to yourself?」(Leaf)

「Ah, I wasn’t talking to myself. I was talking with my master using my Phone Magic.」(Mylia)

「Phone Magic?」(Leaf)

「Yeah. It’s like telepathy. You can talk to someone far away.」(Mylia)

「Interesting. Teach me.」(Leaf)

「You want to learn it?」(Mylia)

「Teach me.」(Leaf)

Leaf stepped forward as she asked Mylia to teach her the spell. Her face got even closer to Mylia’s.

「O, Okay, okay! You gave me the leaves and the dew, so I’ll teach you my spells in return, but first, let’s sit at the table and have some tea, shall we?」(Mylia)

Leaf replied to Mylia with a nod.

The two then sat at the table and talked about magic while enjoying tea until the sun went down.
