Chapter 4-10 : Teleporting With a Radish Sprout On Her Head (part 1)

The next day, Mylia dressed in her casual outfit for going out and went out of her mansion to the garden.

In the garden, Chloe had been waiting for Mylia.

She smiled at Mylia as soon as she noticed her presence.

「Good morning, Mylia.」(Chloe)

「Good morning, Onee-chan!」(Mylia)

（Ahh~ Chloe onee-chan looks as wonderful as always in her casual outfit~）

Chloe was also wearing her casual outfit that matched her beautiful black hair.

「So… Are we going by flying?」(Chloe)

Chloe looked up at the sky as she asked.

She seemed to think so because she sometimes flies with Mylia to go to school from the mansion.

However, Mylia shook her head.

「Nope~」(Mylia)

「Eh? …Don’t tell me… Are we going by carriage?」(Chloe)

「Haha! Of course, not!」(Mylia)

「So, how are we…」(Chloe)

「Actually, I wanted to surprise you, so I’ve been practicing this spell really hard lately! Hold on a second. Hnnghhh…!!」(Mylia)

As Mylia tightened her abdominal muscles, the radish sprout popped out of her head.

「Eh? Why did you take that leaf out?」(Chloe)

「Because I’ll need it.」(Mylia)

「Hmm…?」(Chloe)

Chloe brought her face closer to Mylia and stared at the radish sprout on Mylia’s head as if she noticed that something had changed.

「Say, Mylia… Isn’t this radish sprout bigger than the last time you took it out?」(Chloe)

「Ah, now that you mention it, somehow I feel like it has grown bigger.」(Mylia)

（It has grown about the size of a clover before I realize it…）

「Mylia, it doesn’t affect your health, right? You’re doing just fine, right? Right?」(Chloe)

While touching the radish sprout on Mylia’s head with her index finger, Chloe asked Mylia worriedly.

「D, Don’t worry, Onee-chan. I don’t feel weird at all.」(Mylia)

「Are you sure…?」(Chloe)

「Un! Instead, I feel somewhat more powerful.」(Mylia)

「Is that so…?」(Chloe)

「Yup! Don’t worry!」(Mylia)

Chloe stopped touching the radish sprout and lowered her hand. She then started poking Mylia’s cheek, making sure if Mylia really was alright.

Still, she couldn’t stop feeling worried.

Suddenly, a small space in the garden distorted, and Leaf appeared from the distortion.

She looked at Mylia with her usual sleepy-looking eyes.

「Leaf, good morning!」(Mylia)

「Good morning, Mylia onee-chan… I felt a dryad’s magical power, so I came here.」(Leaf)

「Ah, it’s probably because I let this radish sprout from my head.」(Mylia)

「I see.」(Leaf)

Leaf kept staring at Mylia expressionlessly.

Apparently, she knew that Mylia took out her radish sprout because she wanted to use some kind of spell.

「Oh, right! Leaf, I’m going to see my master with Chloe onee-chan. Do you want to come along?」(Mylia)

「Your master? Sure.」(Leaf)

「Alright then, I will reveal the spell I’m going to use! ーDrrrrrrrrrrrr… Tssh!* I’m going to use Teleportation Magic!」(Mylia)

「Teleportation? I thought you invented a new spell or something. Isn’t Teleportation Magic for one person only? You can’t teleport with another person, right?」(Chloe)

Chloe couldn’t use magic but she knew a thing or two about it.

「Normally, as you said, you can’t bring other people with Teleportation Magic, but I’ve found a method to do that!」(Mylia)

「Really?」(Chloe)

「Un! I had been trying it on Aria-san for quite a long time but I couldn’t bring her with me using Teleportation Magic until she gave me a brilliant idea!」(Mylia)

「A brilliant idea?」(Chloe)

「Yup. Aria-san reminded me that I have two kinds of magical power; my magical power as a human, and my magical power as a dryad. She then told me to use both of them at the same time, and then, voila! I can teleport her and myself at the same time!」(Mylia)

「Ah, that’s why you took that radish sprout out .」(Chloe)

「Exactly!」(Mylia)

While listening to Mylia, Leaf kept staring at Mylia with her expressionless face yet curious eyes.

「Well then, Onee-chan, you have to touch me so that I can teleport with you. You can touch me anywhere you want.」(Mylia)

「Okay.」(Chloe)

Chloe nodded and hugged Mylia tightly.

「Umm… Onee-chan?」(Mylia)

「You said I can touch you wherever I want.」(Chloe)

「I did and I’m happy that you’re hugging me, but… Ugh… I can’t breathe…」(Mylia)

Mylia’s face was buried in Chloe’s big chest.

「Ah, I’m sorry! How about now? Can you breathe?」(Chloe)

Without releasing Mylia from her hug, Chloe loosened her arms a little so that Mylia could breath.

（Seems like she still wants to hug me no matter what. Of course, I don’t mind it at all!）

「Un! All good! We’re ready to go! Leaf, you can follow me while tracking my magical power.」(Mylia)

「Okay.」(Leaf)

After confirming that they were ready to go, Mylia started concentrating on her both types of magical power.

She circulated her magical power all over her own body and Chloe’s body as well.

Mylia had found it difficult to use her magical power on someone else but when she took out her radish sprout, her ability to control her magical power increased and she became able to do it more easily.

（Aria-san said magical power that keeps increasing can be troublesome if I don’t control it firmly so I need to be careful.）

Titania taught her how to control her massive amount of magical power and Aria told her to keep on practicing that.

After all, the ability to control magical power is important, especially for someone who has a lot of magical power like Mylia.

（I feel like practicing magical power control will become my daily routine for a while…）

While thinking about that, Mylia raised her head, looking at the blue sky.

「Onee-chan, are you ready?」(Mylia)

「Y, yeah… I’m ready.」(Chloe)

Chloe hugged Mylia a little bit more tightly. She seemed to be somewhat nervous.

「Since we’ll be teleporting from one point to another, the scenery will change in a blink of an eye for several times, so I hope you won’t get surprised.」(Mylia)

「I see. Okay.」(Chloe)

「Alright. Here we go!」(Mylia)

As soon as Mylia envisioned her destination and activated the spell, she and Chloe disappeared from the garden.
