“Hey Owen, how have you been?”

I turned around and saw Chris-sensei there.

“Chris-sensei, it’s been a long time.”

“I haven’t seen you for a while and you’ve grown up.”

“Are you sure?”

“No, I’m joking, you’re not ready yet.

Wahahaha, Chris-sensei laughs.

The feeling of going up and then dropping is very Chris-sensei like.

“Next year, I’ll start coaching you in earnest.”

“Eh, does that mean I’ll be assigned to Chris-sensei’s unit?”

“Yes, because I’ve been talking to my superiors.”

“I’m glad you think so highly of me.”

“What do you mean? You’re a dwarf compared to me.”

“Daphnia is terrible!”

I protest to Chris-sensei.

That’s because I’m a small fish compared to Chris-sensei, the strongest ice user. ……

Even with this, I feel like I’ve mastered magic in my own way.

“Don’t worry, most of them aren’t even dwarfs in my eyes, and you, dwarf, are somewhat superior to those around you”

”Only-self, as expected of an icy demon, it must be tough being a member of Chris-sensei’s squad.”

“Yeah, it’s tough, my unit’s tough, they say people die in training.”

“Are you serious?”

“I love it when the new guys come in, just thinking about how I’m going to cook them is a great stress reliever.”

“Wow, you’re a jerk.”

“Don’t be ridiculous, if I don’t do that, they’ll be useless in a real fight, and if they die right away, that’s a bigger problem.”

That’s a gut-wrenchingly good argument.

“Right? Well, that’s it, you’ll be ready next month.”

I hate dying in real combat, but I hate dying in training even more.

“Please train me not to die.”

That’s when I bowed my head.

Katharina-sensei appeared from somewhere and entered the conversation.

“Chris, you’re here.”

“It’s a graduation ceremony for one of my students.”

“You’re right.”

Katharina-sensei nodded.

“I heard you beat Farah.”

“Yeah, yeah, …….”

“’That’s Katharina for you, wasn’t Farah strong?”

“Yeah, she was strong.”

There is a delicate air between them.

I’m told that Farah was a classmate of theirs.

How does it feel to beat your classmates?

But then I thought, you know, I killed a classmate of mine, too.

And that was in the first year of primary school.

“Hey Owen, why are you looking so goddamn gloomy? It’s graduation day, you should be smiling more.”

“Isn’t it because Chris-sensei brought up a strange topic!”

“That’s true, too.”

Chris-sensei laughed boldly as she said that.

“I’ve always thought he was really hilarious.”

“I miss it; it’s been over ten years since I graduated.”

“Well, that was a long time ago.”

“Owen, I have a piece of advice for you, and I thank you for it.”

Chris-sensei held up her index finger with a pin.

“Yes, what is it?”

“Time flies, and if you’re not careful, you’ll wither away before you know it, so make the most of it.”

“Okay.”

“I’m an old lady now.”

“If Chris is an old lady, then I’m an old lady.”

“You’re both still young.”

“Oh, dear, Owen-san, you flatter me.”

Katharina-sensei put her hand over her mouth and smiled.

“You’re a hundred years too young to be hitting on me.”

“We’ll be dead in a hundred years, I mean, I’m not hitting on you.”

Who would be brave enough to hit on Chris-sensei?

If you hit on her badly, she’ll say, ‘Hit on me harder!’ and put you in ice.

“It would be a loss not to make a move on me, so beautiful, a loss to the human race, and I wish the world would die.”

“Huh,” Chris-sensei sighed.

Did something happen to her?

I’m curious, but I don’t feel like I should ask.

It’s so dark.

Then, abruptly, Chris-sensei gave me a gentle gaze.

“Whatever you do, congratulations on your graduation.”

“Oh, thank you.”

A sudden change of topic.

It hasn’t changed.

Chris-sensei suddenly looked serious.

It’s called “gap moe”.

It doesn’t make me moan, but it makes me nervous.

“Well, you said it first, so I’ll take it from you, Mr Owen, congratulations on your graduation.”

“Thank you, Miss Katherina!”

I responded with a big smile on my face.

“Hey Owen, you’re reacting differently to me and Katherina.”

“Oh, really, it’s all about personality isn’t it?”

“You’ll remember that next month.”

“Hmmm… Chris in moderation.”

“He’ll get carried away if you coddle him, and if you don’t discipline him well, he’ll be ruined.”

Chris-sensei glared at me.

“Wow, that’s scary, and that’s why the teacher still has to…”

–Be single.

I was about to say, “I’m sorry,” when I felt a chill.

The cold air was being released from Chris-sensei.

“Ohhhh? What did you say?”

“No. …… No, it’s nothing.”

I bow my head honestly.

I can’t stand it when Chris-sensei puts me on ice in a place like this.

“You always have so much to say.”

Chris-sensei said in dismay.

Katharina-sensei looked at us, laughing at us.

Chris-sensei and Katharina-sensei.

Thanks to these two contrasting people, I’ve been able to grow so much.

I’m too embarrassed to say it to their faces, but I respect them both and I’m grateful to them.

I was glad to have met the teachers, I thought again.
