You’re going to scare away the young lady.” Zhuo Yu stepped down from the machine and walked over to greet Chu Xiang. “I see that you’ve already published your new work. The response was pretty good. Congratulations!”

Chu Xiang chuckled, “It’s all thanks to you. If you didn’t proofread my novel for me, the first three chapters of my novel would never have caught the attention of so many readers.”

Zhuo Yu quickly waved his hand. “No need to keep thanking me every day. You’re being far too courteous. I only gave you a few suggestions here and there. At the end of the day, you were the one who was talented enough to absorb that information properly and implement them into your own work. That’s right, remember to lower the intensity of the machines when you work out. It won’t be good if you put too much stress on your heart.”

“Yep, I understand. Anyways, I’m gonna go work out now.” Chu Xiang kept his words in mind before warming up on the treadmill.

The original host’s initial heart attack was greatly related to her habit of pulling all-nighters every day, nothing too serious. Rather, it was only a problem since she lived alone. Let’s invite her over for dinner. Besides, she’s living by herself, so why don’t we make things more lively around her? Just making sure, she is staying by herself, right?”

Thinking back to Chu Xiang’s previous interaction with her parents, Zhuo Yu reckoned, “She’s probably living alone, but I’ve only just gotten to know her recently. Let’s ask her when she’s about to leave.”

While working out, Chu Xiang also nourished her body with spiritual energy. By doing so, it increased her stamina and endurance, making her unlikely to gasp for breath only after a few exercises. Liang Jun looked at her with a smile, “Nice to meet you, Chu Xiang. I’m Liang Jun, a close brother of Zhuo Yu. In fact, I’m also an author working for Dianjia with the pen name, ‘Gentlemanly Thief.’ Ain’t that a coincidence?”

Astonished, Chu Xiang nodded her head. “What a coincidence! To actually meet two godly authors upon meeting places. It seems like my new house has given me good luck.”

Rather amused by her take, Liang Jun then explained, “Since my house is currently being repainted, I decided to move in with Zhuo Yu for a while. Since we’re practically neighbors now, why don’t we have dinner together tonight? Let’s get to know each other. Perhaps we may even write together in the future?”

Having been invited by two handsome guys, Chu Xiang readily accepted their invite, “Sure, I’ll be treating you guys this time. After all, I haven’t paid Zhuo Yu back for all his help yet.”

Liang Jun declined her offer immediately, “That cannot be. How could we have you treat us on our first meal together? Please let me treat you tonight. If you insist on doing so, why not save it for next time instead?”

Understanding his words, Chu Xiang nodded, “Alright, please wait a moment for me.”

Since the gym had a built-in shower room, Chu Xiang went to take a quick shower. Only then did she realize just how convenient it was to have short hair. Not only was it easy to dry, but it was also quick to dry. After all, this was her first time cutting her hair this short. Looking at herself in the mirror, she decided to keep her hair short even after losing weight to save the trouble that would come with having long hair.

With the three of them dining together, there was never once a moment of awkward silence. This was especially due to Liang Jun’s presence as he possessed a seemingly infinite list of jokes in his repertoire. Even though he never stopped talking, they never really found him annoying either. Throughout their time hanging out, Chu Xiang took several glances at his beaming smile, wondering how someone could keep radiating so much positive energy.

With the three of them being authors, they could not help but eventually shift towards the topic regarding the matters occurring within their industry. At that time, Chu Xiang was still an amateur who did not know much about the industry. The original host being a complete shut-in did not help her either. Thus, she naturally found all the weird yet interesting topics they mentioned to be rather intriguing. It was no wonder the term, “netizens,” came into existence. In the writing industry, there seemed to be endless topics to discuss every day. The only difference between them was whether it was a major or minor topic.
