"Ge, Sis-in-law," Guan brightly greeted with a smile.

Min Chu's beautiful face filled with confusion but was able to hide it with a smile. This is the first that Guan called her sis-in-law.

Guan Qing rose from his seat and greeted the two of them; reciprocating Guan's big smile. Min Chu followed suit, clutching her small baby bump.

"Welcome. You two, have a seat," he offered the seat on the long couch next to them.

"Thank you, CEO Niu, Ms. Min."

"You don't have you to call us that. We're outside the office. Just Min Chu, please," she corrected. Her husband nodded in agreement.

Liu Yang's face turned as she bowed her head and thanked them. Aside from being shy that her boss was talking to her casually, she never would have imagined that the man of her dreams would talk and smile at her this way.

As she sat on the couch, Guan, who is next to her, noticed how red her face was.

"Are you running a fever? You were okay a while ago," he asked with concern while putting his hand on her forehead.

Guan took an orange and peeled it for her. She tried to stop him from doing so but he reasoned, "Let me. I'm a pro at it," and had this proud look on his face.

She could only scoff and laugh at him. After peeling, Guan fed her a piece and willingly ate it.

"Is it sweet?"

"Hmm," she answered while chewing. "What about you?"

"Me? Am I sweet?"

Hearing this, Liu Yang pouted and punched him lightly on his shoulder. Guan smirked and raised his brows.

"Feed me," he opened his mouth and waited for her to feed her the fruit.

She could not help but roll her eyes before taking a piece of orange and put it in his mouth. She could not believe that the man in front of her is so cunning. If it weren't for the others around, she would have smacked him on the face right now.

"It really is sweet."

Guan smiled while chewing even tapping her delicate nose.

Across them, Su Bin was observing them while propping his elbow on the armrest with his chin on knuckles. He saw everything and wanted to throw a pillow at them. What a show-off!

He took his phone unnoticed and opened the camera; pointing it at Guan and Liu Yang's direction. As he pressed the shutter, a bright light struck the couple's faces – almost blinding.

"Oh, shit!" Su Bin immediately hid his phone away when a pillow landed on his face.

"Ouch! What was that for?"

"You ask yourself!" Guan snapped. He turned to face Liu Yang and checked on her. "Are you okay? Your eyes did not hurt?"

"I'm fine, you're overreacting."

Guan glanced at Su Bin sideways and held out his hand that confused the latter.


"What now?"

With a cold glare, Guan replied, "Phone."

"No, dude! No way!" Su Bin subconsciously hid his phone on his back and stood up.

"Give it to me or else…" his tone is now overbearing and unapologetic.

"Ge, help, he's bullying me!"

Guan Qing looked at him nonchalantly as he hugged his wife who is laughing silently. "You asked for it."

As an audience, Liu Yang tried to hold her laughter in as she saw how playful they could be. So, this is how they interacted at home, just like ordinary people.

"Ahem!"

All of them turned to where the cough-sound coming from. Descending the stairs, they saw Niu Yizhang with a walking cane in hand and nurse supporting him on the other. The lively atmosphere in the living room immediately turned solemn as they all watched him.

"Father."

"Uncle."

The three men said at the same time.

Niu Yizhang narrowed his eyes on the woman beside Guan as he took every step on the stairs. 'It's her. That rumored girlfriend. Hmm! Just where did he get that slut!'

Liu Yang felt her heart in her throat as she felt the old man's aura. She subconsciously reached for Guan's hand to calm her mind and heart.

The latter was stunned when her smooth skin touched his calloused hand. He felt an indescribable feeling swelling up inside of him and all he could do was away with it as it felt good and comforting at the same time.
