Chapter 3-2 : Days Of Making Artifacts

「Alright. I wonder what I should make today~」

I have almost completed volume four of the Encyclopedia of Alchemy. I only have to make a few more artifacts.

According to Master, the most difficult part of the fourth volume is right before you’ve completed it. However, you can practice and study more to improve your skills, so I think that financial aspect is the main problem.

In order to complete the encyclopedia, you have to make various artifacts and potions, and most of them are hard to sell. Therefore, it will be difficult if you don’t have much money because you won’t be able to get your money back most of the time.

In my case, I could make progress thanks to Master who sent me various valuable materials.

However, I’m starting to run out of those materials now, so from now on, I have to earn money and get materials by myself.

All I have to do now is make the remaining artifacts one by one.

As the name suggests, this artifact is a camping tent that floats in the air.

It sounds amazing, but actually, it only floats about ten centimeters from the ground. Also, its appearance is kind of bland.

Still, this is a great artifact. You don’t have to worry about the unevenness of the ground, humidity and cold anymore. You can sleep comfortably in it for sure.

For Collectors who often go on long-term expeditions, this is a very useful artifact without a doubt.

I’m planning to make it to complete the encyclopedia, so I only have to make a small one, but I want to make it big because I may use it with Iris-san, Kate-san and Lorea-chan in the future.

Well, I don’t know if I will have the chance to spend the night outside with them though, but I’m sure that will be fun.

The first thing to do to make a Floating Tent is of course, making a tent.

There’s no alchemy related work needed in this task. All I have to do is just cut the leather and sew it to make a tent.

This task will take a lot of time because I want to make a large tent that can accommodate four or five people.

I would like to ask a leather craftsman to make me a tent, but unfortunately, we don’t have one in this village.

However, I think it’s good for my training. Besides, this tent will definitely be more handy than an ordinary Floating Tent

You can use a small alchemy pot to make small artifacts, but if you want to make a large amount of potions or a large artifact, you have to use a big alchemy pot like mine.

Big alchemy pots are way more expensive than the small ones, by the way.

We both came out of the store and stood in the front yard.

Lorea-chan started rolling around while laughing happily, having fun with the tent.

Well, I can understand her feelings. After all, you will feel like you are floating in the air when you lie down in this tent. In fact, you are actually floating in the air.

「By the way, how much does this tent cost? Will you sell it at the store?」(Lorea)
