Chapter 528: Trap

To be honest, Lian Ze did not like these kinds of women. This was understandable, it was the impact of the environment he was raised in.

What he liked were smart, capable, straightforward women like his elder sister. And neither Third Aunt or Qing’er could be counted in the category of gentle women.

It was hard to say how uncomfortable they were but seeing Boss Feng and the others enjoying themselves by nodding their heads and tabling the table lightly with their chopsticks, Lian Ze didn’t want to ruin the fun.

The three men were in high spirits, drinking and laughing. Quickly, they become more and more unrestrained, making off color jokes which made Lian Ze blush.

Xiao He and Gu Er called for Xiao Tao Hong, who was singing, to come over and toast.

Xiao Tao Hong was sixteen years old and wore a yellow dress embroidered with willow branches. She was quite petite, with fair skin, delicate features, and a small dimple on each cheek when she smiled. She was charming, pure, and lovely.

Though she had debuted not long ago, her face was a little red under the teasing of the crowd, seeming shy and embarrassed.

When toasting, Gu Er stretched out his hand to touch her snow-white and tender face. With a smile, Xiao Tao Hong exclaimed in a low voice and hid her face. The wine glass in her hand slipped out of her grasp and hit the ground with a bang. Startled, the girl inadvertently stepped on the edge of her skirt and accidently fell on Lian Ze, who was sitting beside Gu Er.

When she fell towards him, the smell of power on her body rushed to his nose, making Lian Ze even more uncomfortable. None of his sisters had the habit of putting on makeup.

The muscles all over his body tensed and he unconsciously became defensive.

As she came closer, Lian Ze’s instinctive reaction was not to reach out to help but to get up and avoid her as quickly as lightening!

He practiced martial arts, his agility far exceeded that of ordinary people and he was already on guard. His movements were much faster than Xiao Tao Hong.

Under the stunned gazes of everyone, Xiao Tao Hong fell magnificently to the ground!

Xiao Tao Hong let out a cry and raised her head to look at Lian Ze, her eyes so aggrieved that tears welled up, her face flushed with embarrassment.

This was the first time she had ever tried this sort of thing, she hadn’t expected to be so unlucky! The little boy who looked so honest and quiet turned out to be so ruthless!

In her heart, she yelled: Aren’t you a man? Why don’t you show any mercy at all!

“I’m, I’m sorry…” Xiao Tao Hong stammered, looking at him in a daze with tears rolling down her cheeks.

Lian Ze felt a little guilty. If he hadn’t avoided her, the girl wouldn’t have fallen down. This was a little his fault.

“Are… are you okay?” Lian Ze asked, reaching out a hand to help her up. After a second of hesitation, he put his hand down again.

Boss Feng and his friends exchanged glances. Glaring at Gu Er, he said dissatisfied: “Xiao Gu, you are really something! This little girl is still young, why are you scaring people!”

“It’s my fault, it’s my fault!” Gu Er quickly apologized, smiling at Lian Ze: “But Young Master Lian is the same! This little girl isn’t a curse but you still avoid her, hey? Look, if you hadn’t hid, the little girl wouldn’t have fallen down and my guilt would be smaller, right? You really don’t know how to be flexible!”

“Don’t talk nonsense, the young master is still young!” Boss Feng laughed.

“His age isn’t small and there are many people serving in his house now, just like a big family. The Lian family is than those ordinary noble family now!” Gu Er laughed as well.

The two of them sang a chorus together, coaxing Lian Ze to help Xiao Tao Hong up, saying he shouldn’t avoid it.

Lian Ze frowned, seeing that Xiao Tao Kong was still on the ground, looking up at him with tears in his eyes. But although he felt sorry for her, he refused to help her.

For no other reason than that he didn’t want to touch women at all.

In other words, unless it was his sisters or Third Aunt who fell to the ground, he would not help anyone else.

“I…” Lian Ze felt even more guilty in his heart but he didn’t know what to say.

Xiao Tao Hong took out a handkerchief and wiped away her tears. Taking the pot again, she poured wine first for Gu ER and then for Lian Ze, to make amends.

The atmosphere became lively again for a while, as Boss Feng and the others laughed and booed.

Lian Ze reluctantly took the wine glass and drank it.

But Xiao Tao Hong toasted him two more times, saying that she was very sorry for disturbing him. Boss Feng and the others helped out, talking and laughing, so Lian Ze was forced to accept it again and again.

Xiao He smiled: Xiao Tao Hong is here to accompany you, is it possible that you aren’t interested? No matter what, she’s still a little girl. If it weren’t for you, she’d wouldn’t be so embarrassed! Looking at her slender, soft flesh, isn’t it too pitiful?

Xiao Tao Hong sighed softly, saying bitterly: “This concubine is just a toy for fun, right? The masters are joking but this concubine can’t bear it!”

“It’s really pitiful, the more you talk about it! It’s my fault, Miss Tao Hong. I’ll toast you, don’t be sad! Looking at your face, it’s really heart-wrenching!” Gu Er patted the table and sighed, making a toast to Xiao Tao Hong.

Her expression was stunned, as if she couldn’t believe it, making Boss Feng and Xiao He laugh at her. Pursing her lips, she smiled and accepted the wine glass, drinking it all down.

Since Gu Er had made a toast, of course they forced Lian Ze to do the same. He had no choice.

Xiao Toa Hong took Lian Ze’s wine glass, her eyes soft and charming. Anyone could see the affection in it.

She drank it down elegantly under the loud applause from the three men. With the forceful insistence for Gu Er and Xiao He, she sat beside Lian Ze with a coquettish smile.

The smell of makeup was overpowering and Lian Ze suddenly felt a little dizzy. He couldn’t help but close his eyes and shake his head, holding his forehead.

“Young master Lian, are you, are you drunk?” Xiao Tao Hong asked softly, looking at him with admiration.

“I, no.” The groggy feeling in Lian Ze’s mind became more and more serious and his originally clear mind seemed to be invaded by a thick fog that gradually wrapped thicker and thicker.

Lian Ze was a little puzzled. His drinking capacity was actually quite good and he had always kept in mind what his sister and brother-in-law told him. If he ever became confused at a wine table, he would resolutely stop drinking.
