The structure of the building, as grim as a cemetery, was simpler than one might expect. After several turns through the dark corridors, he finally found his way out.

The noxious smoke vanished and a cool breeze brushed against their cheeks. Large raindrops began to fall on their heads. The woman removed her nose from his white dress shirt and breathed in the fresh air.

“Haa… haa… haa. I almost died, I almost died.”

The man set the woman down on the grass and laid down next to her.

“Ahh.”

She had great gratitude for this man who had risked his life to rescue her. The woman looked at the red wound on the man’s forehead and said,

“Thank you… Thank you for saving me. If it hadn’t been for you, I would have died while suffocating in there.”

The man lying in the grass was touching his dress shirt, the portion she had used to cover her nose. The woman involuntarily looked up at the sky as she waited for his response.

Although the vast sky was covered by rain clouds, the moonlight faintly illuminated the entire landscape.

There was grass everywhere, and the sea appeared black in the distance thanks to the black smoke rising ominously on the horizon.

The place where the woman found herself was a hill above the coast. The building, in which she had been trapped until recently, gave off tons of black smoke.

The building was a two-story concrete construction that did not fit well on the uninhabited coast. There were no significant windows, as if it had been designed for the purpose of keeping people locked in.

The roof of the building was flat. A huge structure had fallen on top of it, causing the fire.

When the woman saw the scene, she quickly stood up, covered her mouth and asked,

“Do you see it? What is that? ”

Although she waited, there was no response, so she turned her gaze back to the man. The man, still lying on the grass, only looked up at the sky as if he found it difficult to look at her.

Only then did the woman look down at her own body. She discovered herself only wearing a bra and panties.

The underwear she wore was as white as snow, with lace that highlighted her feminine beauty.

Although she was covered in soot and wet from the rain, her body was still stimulating to the eye.

Perhaps the man avoided her for fear that his gaze would instinctively fall on her breasts. Embarrassed, she crossed her arms in front of her.

“By any chance, have you called the police?”

The dirt below had been washed away by the heavy rain, but the building remained on fire. She was desperate to move to safety as soon as possible.

At that moment, the man’s gaze swept over her thighs.

However, he soon felt embarrassed and turned his burning gaze toward the flames instead.

That had been a glimmer of hope. She shrugged and asked,

“By the way, what was it that fell on the roof of the building? More importantly, why was I there….?”

Her hands were still shaking from her near encounter with death.

A strong smell of burning rose from her fingertips. She did not remember how she ended up trapped in the building.

The woman’s expression became quite serious. What was I doing before I was trapped in that building? Where did I live? How old was I?

She couldn’t even remember her name. For some reason, the more she tried to recall her memories, the weaker she felt.

“Ah, something, something is strange… something is wrong…”

The man stood up and inspected the woman curiously. The woman returned his stare while clutching her head.

He was so tall that she had to look up to see his face. He looked like a white man from Northern Europe. His hair was a dark gray at the roots and a warm gray at the ends.

The elegant hairstyle of the man enhanced his face. He looked like a model with a cool air about him. She stared into the man’s eyes, captivated by his handsome appearance.

His eyebrows and eyelashes were a dark gray that matched perfectly with the blue of his eyes. It was then that she thought he resembled a vampire who enjoyed life in the shadows.

“My name is Hayden.”

The man introduced himself with a smile. She found his developed body and youthful face familiar. Where? Where have I seen someone like this man?

When she tried to remember the past, it all became confusing and suffocating for a moment. It was the man’s deep voice that brought her back to reality.

“And your name is…?”

Once she looked Hayden in the eye again, she realized that the flames of the building were reflecting brightly in those blue eyes.

The Asian woman stood in front of the flames. An unfamiliar anxiety shook her heart. She hurriedly avoided his gaze.

“Uh, my, my name is…”

Turning his attention toward the sea, Hayden said,

“It’s alright if you don’t want to tell me. It’s more important to take shelter from the rain right now.”

“It’s not that, it’s just that I don’t remember my name.”

Hayden examined the woman’s pupils to make sure her words were true. Soon after, he took off his jacket and said,

“You won’t be able to pay me for saving your life if you can’t even remember your name. Well, you don’t necessarily have to pay me back with money.”

What did he want from a woman who was almost naked…? Did this mean that he was interested in her body?
