Unstoppable

Translated by GXYRU

A spacious hall-like space with a high ceiling. Twelve dragons, known as Ancient Dragons, measuring over 10 meters in length, crowded together.

The dragons, adorned with golden fangs, claws, and colorful scales as hard as metal, simultaneously unleashed their Dragon Breath and attacked.

I am currently in the deepest level of the high-difficulty high-class dungeon called the “Dragon’s Palace,” located on the opposite side of the Ronaudia Kingdom and the continent.

The “Dragon’s Palace” is the most challenging dungeon to conquer among the high-difficulty dungeons, and I cleared it with Grey and Serena about four years ago.

Dodging the Dragon Breaths, I swiftly maneuver through the midst of the dragon horde, slaying them one by one with my two swords, radiating an ominous light.

As the dragons disappear one after another, leaving only magic stones behind, I finish off all twelve dragons in about five minutes.

“Now then, shall we proceed to the boss battle?”

At the farthest end of the bottom level is a gigantic double door. Opening the door reveals an even larger expanse than before.

Standing in the depths of the room is a massive red dragon, a Red Dragon Lord, with a length of around 25 meters, making the ancient dragons from earlier seem cute in comparison. This is the boss of the “Dragon’s Palace.”

“That’s why your reactions are too slow.”

Before the red dragon can exhale its flame breath, I evade its line of fire and accelerate.

While the dragon moves its line of sight while breathing, I narrowly dodge and close in on it.

Slipping beneath its enormous body, I drive my two swords into it. Sliding along the floor, I tear through its belly.

“Well, this won’t be enough to defeat you.”

As expected… the Red Dragon is still alive, just as I calculated. When its scorching breath, capable of melting even metal, turns into an empty shot, it launches another attack with its fangs and claws.

Its movements are swift for its massive body, but still too slow. Before it can turn around, I circle to its back and deliver another blow.

Yet, the Red Dragon is still breathing. I kick off its enormous body and leap into the air, thrusting my sword under its jaw.

Finally, the Red Dragon vanishes along with the effects, and a massive magic stone and dropped items appear.

The world of “Koigaku” takes over the setting of a discarded RPG that was too orthodox. That perception is not wrong.

But to be more precise, the world of “Koigaku” concludes within the region surrounding the capital city, where the Royal Magic Academy is located, and beyond that lies a completely separate RPG world.

Within the miniature garden protected by the Ronaudia Kingdom, students with a love-focused mentality immerse themselves in the world of “Koigaku.” Knowing this reality can feel quite surreal.

Although the possibility of me inheriting the position of Prime Minister is low, I am obligated to attend the academy for three years as part of the promise with my parents. I can simply rationalize it as a place to experience noble society, ignoring the world of otome games.

Since the academy classes end at 3 p.m., I use teleportation magic, Teleport, to visit the “Dragon’s Palace” every day after school.

During our travels around the world, Grey, Serena, and I have already registered teleportation points in various locations, so I can move using teleportation magic in most places.

In the end, even though I started attending the academy, I continue my adventures. I have free time to do whatever I want, after all.

I couldn’t expect others

to accommodate my schedule, so I left Grey and Serena’s party. That’s why I’m currently clearing dungeons solo.

There is also a part of me that wants to test how far I can go alone. After all, it has only been 15 years since I was reincarnated. There are probably plenty of people stronger than me out there.

But on the flip side, it means I can still aim higher. My goal is not to become the strongest in the world… I’m not that kind of single-minded person.

Right now, I have confidence that I can conquer a top-tier dungeon even if I go solo. But if I fail, it’s game over, so I need to be cautious in my actions.

For now, I’ll get used to solo battles in the “Dragon’s Palace” and when I feel confident enough, I’ll challenge the most difficult dungeon.

“Well, let’s call it a day for now.”

Using the teleportation point in the dungeon, I return to the surface. Then I use teleportation magic to move and head towards the city where the Adventurer’s Guild is located. My purpose is to exchange magic stones and sell dropped items, as well as to have a meal.

Distance is not a problem when using teleportation magic. I have decided to go to the Adventurer’s Guild in the city where I have acquaintances from the past.

The Adventurer’s Guild is bustling with adventurers. It’s around 6:30 p.m. here, though due to the 2-hour time difference with the Ronaudia Kingdom, it feels like 8:30 p.m. to me.

Everyone is drinking and having a good time at the bar attached to the guild.

“Hey, Arius. It’s the usual time for you today.”

“Yeah, because I’m not as laid-back as you.”

The person who called out to me is Gale, a tough-looking man with a scar on his cheek. He’s a Class A adventurer and a bit older than me, around 28 years old. But Gale and I talk casually.

I stayed in this town of Kernel for about three months five years ago when we cleared the high-difficulty dungeon, the “Great Labyrinth of Gune.” The adventurers in the town of Kernel whom I met at that time were all friendly. They even approached me, who was just a cheeky kid at the age of 10, and talked to me easily.

Well, it was probably because I was with Grey and Serena. Before coming to the town of Kernel, there were quite a few people who looked down on me as a kid. But I silenced them all with my skills alone.

There was an empty seat at Gale’s table, so I sit down without asking.

“By the way, there’s curfew now. Hey, Master, I’m hungry, so bring me some meat and drinks.”

The man I called Master is the manager of the Adventurer’s Guild’s food and beverage department, who was also in charge five years ago.

“Curfew? What’s that? Arius, did you get yourself a girlfriend or something?”

“No, it’s not like that. Well, it’s a different story.”

I haven’t told the other adventurers that I’m attending the Royal Magic Academy. They probably don’t even know that I’m the son of the Prime Minister of the Ronaudia Kingdom.

When I registered as an adventurer, I didn’t even put down my family name, just “Arius.” The nobles of Ronaudia and the people at the academy are probably unaware that Arius who cleared the most difficult dungeon with Grey and Serena is the same person as Arius Gilbert.

I haven’t been involved in the social scene for eight years, so it’s known that I was an adventurer. But Arius is not

an uncommon name, and I made sure to request them not to mention that Arius in Grey and Serena’s party was me.

It would be troublesome if they found out that I’m Arius Gilbert. I would have to greet the royal and noble families of the countries I visit and appear in the social scene. I don’t plan to waste my time on such pointless things.

“Hey, Gale. I’ll exchange magic stones, so if you have any orders, pay with this for now.”

I hand Gale a gold coin, and then I head to the guild reception counter.

“Welcome, Arius. I’m assuming you have a large amount of magic stones today as well? Since we can’t display them all on the counter, please put them in the warehouse and bring them out later.”

The guild staff member, Imelda, is also familiar to me from five years ago.

“If I can’t exchange them by the time I leave, it’s fine to do it tomorrow.”

I take out a large number of magic stones from the “Storage” and Imelda doesn’t seem surprised. It was similar when we cleared the “Great Labyrinth of Gune” five years ago. She has gotten used to it.

“Well, I’m not surprised anymore… but I wonder about the quantity and quality every time.”

Every day, I head straight to the lowest level of the “Dragon’s Palace” and continue battling for about five hours. The monster creatures are stronger than those in the “Great Labyrinth of Gune,” so the quality of the magic stones is higher. Since I keep fighting endless waves of monsters, the number easily exceeds 500.
