Extras 1: 200 Years Later

The Klein Dragon Academy was a dream destination for children across the continent.

「Look, I got my admission letter!」Alice rushed in, waving an almost golden piece of paper with a blue and a red dragon. 「 Phina, Phina! I got the letter too! We can go together!」

「I know you will pass.」Phina hugged her friend happily,「 Let’s pack our bags! Should we ride my pegasus?」

「Yeah!」

The girls’ pegasus stopped in front of a statue. It was a solid gold statue of the two founders of the Klain Dragon Academy, Grieve, and Slair. Grieve raised his flame sword with one hand, held Slair’s hand with the other, and Slair held four gems in his free hand, symbolizing the four elements.

「Alice, which route will you choose?」

「Me? I want to be a mage… but we will know more about that in the second year. Phina, I’ve thought for the longest time. Don’t you think the two founders look so good together? They never married, never left the other and shared an unbreakable bond… Don’t you think the statue looked more__than the pictures?」

「Stop thinking strange things, Alice. They were noble people, and you would be spanked if your mother heard these words.」

「Ah, Phina, Please don’t! You won’t tell on me, right?」

The light net allowed them to pass through when they swiped their admission letter at the entrance. Once they entered the school, their pegasus was taken to its special stable. Following the directions in the letter,  Phina found the place flashing with a guiding light. Many aircraft were parked at the central square and the Lake of Dragons junction. The aircraft came with pre-stored school maps and common routes, students could use them freely, and it was almost impossible to get lost with the aircraft.

Phina got one for her and Alice with the admission letter. However, Alice removed her shoes and socks and stretched her bare feet into the Lake of Dragons.

「ALICE! WHAT ARE YOU DOING!」Phina was shocked,「That is a lake where the dragons bathe!」

「I want to see if there are any dragons…」

「That’s disrespectful!」 Phine shouted,「If there is a dragon in there and sees you stepping on his bathing water…」

「He won’t get mad.」A gentle male voice came from behind.

The two girls were startled. They looked back and saw a blue-haired man smiling at them「Are you first-year students? I think you are because the second-year students won’t respect the dragons like that anymore.」

No humans had blue hair, so they immediately recognized the famous blue dragon.

「Lord Alex!」

「Call me Mr.Alex.」Alex rubbed their heads,「Feel free to play in the lake if Rhett or I am taking a bath in it- Ah, of course, I am talking about the dragon form, you can climb on us if you want. But make sure you talk to us first. Rhett is so forgetful and always loses count of how many little guys are on his back.」

「I got it now!」A man with red hair came down from the sky. 「 Alex, do not talk bad about me in front of the first-year students!」

The girls were overjoyed to see two dragons on their first day, and other first-year students gathered around to hear Alex explain how to use the aircraft.

「Alright, this is the first day. It would help if you learned how to operate the aircraft first. You will have plenty of chances to ride a dragon, dear little folks. Now, hurry up and get to the castle. It’s almost mealtime.」

Food in the golden castle was famous, too. Under Alex’s prompting, the first-year students got on the aircraft and flew off one by one.

「This year’s first-year students are not bad at flying. I remember the first time we introduced this thing; some naughty kids wanted to jump off it. 」Rhett said, handing Alex an ice cream and taking one himself.

「I have been curious, how does it feel for a fire dragon to eat it?」Alex looked at Rhett curiously,「Will you feel uncomfortable?」

「How can a little ice make me feel uncomfortable? It is exciting and fun!」Rhett quietly rubbed some ice cream on Alex’s face,「Surprise!」

Alex calmly stretched out his tongue and licked it:「Em, not bad.」

They strolled through the school, and as they walked, they came to the statue.

「When I found Slair had fallen off the floating island, I was devastated…」Alex stroked the base of the statue,「I never thought losing him would hurt that much. I was so happy when we reunited, but I couldn’t help thinking that this little human’s life was so short. Compared to us, it was like a little spark. How will I handle the pain after he leaves me forever?」

「So that’s why you woke up in the middle of the night feeling depressed? I thought you were worried about getting arrested.」

「Ah, that too, of course.」Alex licked the ice cream with satisfaction and showed it off in front of Rhett, who had finished his ice cream.「I never thought I would live a life like this. There are humans everywhere, generation after generation…」

「So, you finally understand me a little?」The blond Dragon Emperor quietly appeared from behind,「Hey~ That’s the beauty of humans.」

「Your Majesty! Did you sneak out again?!」

「I came here fair and square!」The Dragon Emperor protested,「Yo~ I got every certificate that I needed, and I am the honorary lecturer. Why can’t I be here?」

「Your Majesty, you came at the right time,」Alex said,「There is a six-grade all-spects student have questions for you. How long can you stay here?」

「Ah, about that…」

「I see, you can’t answer it. You indeed sneaked from work.」 Rhett sighed and shook his head.

「Clarence!」

At that moment, a cold voice sounded, and His Majesty the Dragon Emperor’s whole body stiffened.

「Ahhahaha…Sidel… Huh!」He turned around and was shocked to see the consul of the Air Traffic Breaure was in his human form,「You you you… You’re actually coming to me in your human form…」

「Blackie suggested it.」The silver-haired consul slightly turned his head,「This is human’s place… and I need to consider your interest, too.」

「Am I dreaming?」The Dragon Emperor pinched his face,「But you said…」

「Because they asked me to think in your shoes, if one day you became a human and lost your ability to transform back- then I think I would break up with you right at the spot. Thus, taking that into consideration, you are treating me well. So…」

「Hey hey hey! What do you mean if I became a human and can’t transform back, you will break up with me !!! That crossed the line! Ginko, you crossed the line there! Yo, I know you didn’t mean it, but it was mean! My heart will get hurt by it! Ginko, you need to make it up to me! Let me kiss you…」

「Your Majesty! We are in public…」

「*Cough*」Alex cleared his throat,「Sorry to intrude. Still, I would like to ask, Your Majesty, do you want to continue with the consul back at your floating island or find a place inside the golden castle? Do you plan on staying afterward or flying away? That kid has been waiting for you for a long time, and I would like to give him an answer.」

The Dragon Emperor hung himself on the consul like an octopus and completely gave up on maintaining his appearance. He joyfully rubbed against his silver-haired lover’s face. With a wave of a hand, the wind wrapped around them and flew to the top of the castle,「 I will go to the room at the top of the castle, then I will meet that kid. However, it might take a couple days… Bye-bye!」

「AH, the room at the top…」Rhett held his chin「His Majesty should know about it, right?… The hidden mechanism of that room.」

「But I don’t think the consul knows about it… I could only wish that His Majesty would tell him.」

A room at the top of the golden castle took the entire floor. There was a button hidden underneath the pillow. Once the button was pushed, the whole room would turn transparent. When Slair and Grieve were living here, it had been so long since Alex and Rhett made the castle, and Alex forgot to mention the hidden mechanism. One day, the two dragons were playing cards next to the castle. Suddenly, they saw the room at the top of the castle become transparent, and Grieve was on top of Slair. It was Slair who accidentally hit the switch.

Fortunately, it happened during the holiday season, and they haven’t fully undressed. Only the two dragons and a few workers noticed it.

Thinking about it, Alex and Rhett both laughed. Only a little ice cream was left in the blue dragon’s hand. When he noticed Rhett’s expression, he smiled and stuffed it into the red dragon’s mouth.

The next second, they shared an ice-cream-flavored kiss under the statue. The wind blew by, bringing the energetic chatter of the students.

This would be another fantastic year.
